CHEAP Sansui HDLCD1912 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black

I wouldn’t rave about this TV at all. There’s nothing spectacular about it in any way. It’s completely average, but that’s what I bought it for. We picked up this TV to use with our treadmill so we were really just looking for something with a decent price. This one was the lowest price and met the specifications we wanted.br /br /Having said that, I am completely satisfied. It has a digital tuner so it picked up all the “over-the-air” channels just fine. However, the process was ridiculously long. It took probably around an hour to auto-program the TV channels. I didn’t clock it. I just walked away and then the TV popped on so much later that I had completely forgot it was working.br /br /The picture is fine. It’s not the best, but it’s good enough. The sound is a bit lacking though. At its loudest, you can’t even hear it over the treadmill so we have to hook up headphones to it, which is fine. Sound quality is average.br /br /Other than that, this TV DOES have an HDMI output. I know one reviewer was complaining that it didn’t, but maybe he got an older model. The one I got definitely has an HDMI port though I believe the model number might be HDLCD1912a. I suppose they don’t make the plain 1912 anymore, I don’t know. For this TV, though, with it’s average quality, an HDMI cable is really just a convenience of having one cable and not something you need to get maximum sound and video quality.br /br /So, if you’re looking for something simple to throw in your kitchen or in your workout room or something like that, then this is the way to go. But if you’re looking for something for your Xbox or Playstation or as your main TV, then I would suggest spending a little bit more money and getting a better device. This one is sure NOT to wow anyone, but it will get the job done.

I actually own the 26″. I wasn’t too sure about buying it but the price was great. I think it is a great TV. It has surprised me in many ways. First I did’nt even know it was 110V/220V till my son plugged into the 220V socket and blew up the Wii but the TV survived. Also as we live abroad it did’nt need a converter for the cable system here. I am pretty sure it is PAL here although i did have to use a RF box to find the channel. I am sure there is a way to do it but I am not big on reading the manual. Anyway I love this TV, the colors are great.

CHEAP LG 19LH20 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black

i bought this tv from amazon about a week ago along with a toshiba dvd recorder/player (DR570) and i am impressed with both products. i did my research on lcd tvs before i bought this. i was looking for something between 14″ and 18″ for my bedroom. everyone told me i should get a bigger one because it would look small in my bedroom. well, i don’t need a 48″ tv for anything and was always satisfied with my 13″ orion tv i bought at walmart about 10 years ago.. (time for an upgrade). i really wanted a 16″ but couldn’t find one, so i settled for the lg 19″.
i recieved this tv in prompt time (ordered march 19th standard shipping, recieved march 25th via ups). setup was a breeze. i programmed this tv with a universal remote that i already had for use with my old tv. the picture comes in great. volume is awesome. there is a slight delay when changing channels, but i got used to that fairly quickly. also, i’ve been so used to turning on my tv and immediately it comes on.. the lg takes a few seconds, but i expected that with any new tv i would purchase. i love the fact that there is a sleep setting on this set. i also love the fact that there are different picture settings i can choose from. i can set my own or use the preset natural, cinema, sport, or vivid settings.. (there may be a few more i forgot to mention). the same with the sound.. i can set my own or use the preset options instead.
the sound and picture quality are good with the set, but they are not the best that there is out there. if you’re looking for a less pricey set to meet your basic needs, this is the tv for you.
i love the fact that this tv is fairly mobile. i’ve moved a lot in the past, and i can’t stress enough how much of a pain it is to have to unhook every cord and cable from a big bulky set to move. this set is light and sleek looking. the stand does not swivel, which is kind of a downer, but the pros definitely outweigh this one con. also, i love the fact that there is cord management in the back. a cheap little plastic clip can hold all of my cords together to help hide them a bit and make this lg tv look a little more impressive. the plastic clip is a little cheap yes, but it’s in the back of the tv, so who cares?
it’s a great tv and i would definitely buy a larger one for my living room when the time is right.

We lost three TV’s to a lightning strike and had to purchase units that met our needs. While we never heard of this brand, we ordered three and are so very pleased not just with the quality but with the service from the company.br /br /In our opinion, a great value and really great deal!

CHEAP Samsung LN19A331 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, White
We have been using this TV in my daughter’s room for over a year now without any problems at all. We got my 3 year-old this TV because we didn’t want the worry of her potentially pulling her former, heavy 19″ tube-television onto herself. Aside from the fact that this TV is light weight and thus very portable (and non-life threatening
, it is very easy to use as she turns it on/off by herself.
The only criticism is that there are no actual buttons, in the traditional sense, on the TV itself. There are the symbols for Power, Volume, Ch., etc. and when you touch the symbols, they perform the function. Easy enough to do but they should be back-lit. Without the lights on, it’s very hard to find any function except for the on/off button which is the first one from the bottom up.
After months of my daughter mixing the remote with her toys, my wife and I have developed the motor skills to just “know” where to touch the TV now to perform whatever function we happen to need. But it was a bit of a nuissance in the beginning.
We currently have it connected to our Comcast cable box and a DVD player. The cable is non-HD and connected via a coaxial cable and the image looks great, not grainy or pixelated. The DVD player is non-high def. but connected with the 5 component cables as if it were high def. and the image quality is very sharp.
I uploaded pictures of the buttons and screen images of cable and DVD.
